Investors from the crypto sector participated in the raise, including Charlie Lee the founder of Litecoin.
Digital asset manager and Bitcoin ETF proponent Valkyrie Investments recently raised $10 million Series A funding round, highlighting the increased number of investor interest in crypto-focused firms.
Charlie Lee who is a well-known entrepreneur in the crypto industry was also part of the raise along with former Major League Baseball pitcher CJ Wilson and Tron founder Justin Sun. XBTO, BTC Media, UTXO Management, Consolidated Trading and 10X Capital also participated.
Valkyrie CEO and World Bank veteran Leah Wald said the firm is focused on expanding investor access to crypto currencies in a “more managed, research-driven manner that ultimately provides the best class products to all types of investors.”
Wald and Valkyrie’s chief investment officer Steven McClurg and Litecoin founder Charlie Lee said:

The asset manager offers three crypto-focused funds providing exposure to Bitcoin, Polkadot and Algorand.
